Historical Photo of Southeastern Transfer and Storage

Southeastern Transfer is a family owned and operated heavy-haul trucking and storage business specializing in the safety and on-time delivery of our customers' oversize and/or overweight goods and equipment since 1929.

Welcome To Our Website!

During its lifetime, Southeastern Transfer has hauled everything from government supplies and ammunitions during World War II to the Centennial Park Towers for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. We have relocated a live tree sheltering a family of endangered owls, and moved the original "General" locomotive - made famous during the Civil War in the great locomotive chase through northwest Georgia - to the Southeastern Railway Museum. We have contributed to the construction of the Atlanta Airport's new runway and transported tanks, jet fighters, and Blackhawk and Apache helicopters for local aerospace companies and the Georgia National Guard.

We anxiously await the opportunity to haul your special cargo with the care and attention we give every one of our clients.

Some Of Our Services

We service the contiguous 48 states and the Canadian provinces of Manitoba, Quebec, and Ontario with common and contract carrier authority, and have intrastate authority within the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. To service the needs of these customers, we maintain a fleet containing flatbed, step-deck, RGN, lowboy, and expandable trailers as well as super load equipment, a secure 6.5 acre yard just outside the City of Atlanta, and a 200,000+ sq. ft. warehouse. A female-owned company, we are certified accordingly through the GWBC and the City of Atlanta. We are also in the process of receiving our certification as a DBE through the GA DOT.
